Mac Haul!

I think we can all agree that we all love MAC but... hate the prices.
I'm so excited to share with you my MAC haul!
MAC Mineralize Moisture SPF 15 in NC-42: MAC describes this foundation as a natural satin finish. I initially came for Face & Body but after speaking to the MUA she recommended that I try this foundation because I was after a foundation that gave a nice dewy/natural finish but still gave a good amount of coverage. She said that F&B may not give me the kind of coverage that I desired since it is very sheer. So I decided take her advice and try this foundation. I still wish I went with F&B but I like the way MM looked on me when she applied it. If you're curious to see how it looks on me you can check it out here.
MAC Prep & Prime Lip: I did not plan on purchasing this product but when I tried it at the store and I fell in love with it! Prep & Prime works as a primer for your lips to help the lip color last longer and prevent bleeding, feathering etc.
MAC lipstick in Ruby Woo: The famous bright red lipstick that flatters almost everyone! I had to have it and when I tried it on I loved it!
MAC lipstick in Dangerous: It is a retro matte lipstick that is orangey-red. I was in need of a bright orange lippie for spring and summer. I was torn between vegas volt, morange and this one. Ultimately, I chose Dangerous because how bright and bold it is.
MAC lipstick in Heroine: It is a matte bright purple lipstick. There is so much hype for this lippie that I could not pass it up and it looks great on everyone. Bright purple lipsticks are so trendy right now.

I also wanted to pick up Flat out fabulous and Fix + but they were sold out at the store *cries* so I will have to order them online. Also, I will have a post with swatches of the lippies soon. I really like the matte and retro matte lippies so I definitely have to have them all- MAC is going to make me go broke (but I'm okay with that)

REVIEW: Wet N Wild Mega Liner eyeliner in Black + FOTD

Wet n Wild Mega Liner Liquid Eyeliner in Black
My favorite type of eye look is winged liner- I tend to wear a lot of bold lip colors so I feel like a winged eyeliner look compliments it perfectly.

This is the wet n wild mega liner in black. It has a thin brush tip so you get a lot of control as to how you thick or thin you'd like your eyeliner to be. One thing I love about this eyeliner is the color, it's very dark and matte. I prefer this kind of finish as opposed to a shiny finish. I wish this eyeliner was waterproof because that's my only complaint- I find that it doesn't last throughout the day especially near the outer corner where my wing usually is. I find that towards the end of the day it tends to smudge. It retails for about $3. You can find this at drugstores, Target, Harmon, and other stores where wet n wild are sold.

Here is my FOTD!

Maybelline Color Show The Nudes in "Warm me up" Nail Polish & DUPE ALERT!

Maybelline Color Show the nudes in "Warm Me Up"

Maybelline released a collection of nude themed nail polishes for their spring collection titled "the nudes" I picked up the nail polish from this line that seemed closest to my skin tone and I ended up with "Warm Me Up". It is a brown pink shade with no shimmer. It is also limited edition.
While I was applying this nail polish I couldn't help but think to myself that I owned a nail polish that was very similar to this, so I took a look through my collection and I realized that it was very similar to one of my O.P.I nail polishes "Barefoot in Barcelona". This nail polish was released in fall 2009 as part of the Spain collection. It is not limited edition and it retails for $9. In my opinion, "Warm me up" is practically a spot on dupe for "Barefoot in Barcelona"- I can't see a noticeable difference.
O.P.I Nail Lacquer in "Barefoot in Barcelona"
I love colors like these because they are so versatile, if you can't wear bold nail colors to work etc and you still want to rock nail polish then you cant go wrong with them.
As a comparison of these two nail polishes I applied "Barefoot in Barcelona" on my index finger and the rest of the fingers are "Warm me up"
Index finger- "Barefoot in Barcelona" Other fingers: "Warm me up"

"Warm me up" is a great alternative if you do not want to spend $9 on a nail polish as it is approximately $3, depending where you buy it. I purchased mine at Harmon for $2.99
Do you think it is a dupe?

March Favorites!

Garnier Skin Renew Dark Spot Corrector
I struggled with cystic acne for more than a year. Recently, my skin has cleared up so I am now concentrating on fading dark marks. I have been using this for the past three months in hopes that it will fade my acne scars on my face. To be honest, I did not have high hopes for it but I have seen some improvement- my acne scars are much lighter.
Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 in shade 860.
I love this foundation! I have been using this foundation for about a year and I'm nearly done with my third bottle. I like that it's medium to full coverage and has a matte finish but recently Ive been pairing it with my MAC strobe cream and I love the result. It gives me a nice satin finish.
MAC Pro Longwear concealer in NC42
It covers my dark circles very well and I think it's almost HG status. 'Nuff said.

e.l.f Matte Lip Color in "Praline"
This lippie is a  matte brown-nude color. It is somewhat drying so make sure you moisturize before you wear this- I love that its affordable and its retractable so I don't have to worry about sharpening it. The bottom of the packaging has a small plastic top that is a true to color swatch of the lippie but it fell off- and the same thing has happened to the other color in this range that I have called "natural". "Natural" is not my favorite because its too light on me but I recommend it for those ladies with fair skin. I love the color because it is my perfect nude lip. I wear this practically everyday.
NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in "Smokey Look"
It is a peachy nude color that is not sticky like other lipglosses. It has subtle shimmer but I love pairing it with my nude or pink lipsticks. I have been using it over "praline" and I love it- it also keeps my lips moisturized when I use "praline".
MAC Strobe Cream
I purchased the travel size because I was not sure that I was going to like it. I am very pleased with this cream and I'm definitely going to buy the full size. Lately I have been obsessed with dewy skin and my strobe cream is instrumental in helping me achieve it.
