China Glaze "Poinsettia" Nail Polish

china laze poinsettia nail polish
Poinsettia is from the China Glaze Let it snow! 2011 holiday collection. This is actually my first China Glaze nail polish so I was excited to try this out. I have tried O.P.I and Essie and Ive always heard people raving about China Glaze because its quality is similar to O.P.I and Essie but it is much cheaper. I picked this up at my local TJMAXX for $2.99 (SCOREEEE!)- they usually retail for $5.00. I recommend going to TJMAXX and checking out their beauty section.
Poinsettia is a bright red nail polish with no shimmer or glitter. It is sort of a creme and jelly finish. I like that it is very opaque, I applied two coats but I could have gotten away with just applying one coat. It is also very shiny- I did not have to apply a top coat but I applied one so it could last longer on my nails. In the picture above it is just poinsettia- no top coat and it looks so glossy. Overall, I like this nail polish. I have had it on for four days and it has not chipped. I look forward to trying more China Glaze nail polishes!

What nail polish shades do you like from China Glaze?

  1. I don't know the names of the shades, but I do have a lovely white shade and I adore it. I do believe I have this colour, as well as an orange. Persoanlly, what I love about China Glaze is how smoothly it paints and you only ever really need one layer. ;) Great post!
